In 2025 Shannow FRC was fortunate enough to get funding from RTE Toyshow appeal, this grant is being used to fund playtherapy sessions for children whose families cannot afford the cost of sessions, each family has been identified by our Family Support Worker and linked in with a play therapist.
It will also fund small group therapeutic workshops in local schools and parental workshops on themes that have been identified by parents to help parents to understand what is happening for their children.
