About Shannow FRC

Shannow Family Resource Centre gained FRC Status in 2007 and opened it’s doors to the public in 2008. We are one of 136 FRC’s located througout Ireland and are funded by the Child & Family Agency under the Family and Community Services FRC National Programme.

The catchment area of Shannow FRC has expanded over the years from the original Kilflynn, Abbeydorney and Killahan areas incorporating the electoral division of Lixnaw has been included since 2016.
